These low-profile speakers from Sol Republic put powerful sound in a compact form factor, allowing them to easily slide into a pocket, purse, or bag. In creating a design language for the speakers that was all about having them feel good in the hand, we also thought deeply about what the best hardware user experience would be. The team came up with a new way to make sharing music more social, Heist mode, which made it easier and more fluid to swap music between listeners. We helped develop and define the entire experience around this technology and its expression through physical controls and sensory cues like lighting and sound design.
