Pearl Izumi has strong heritage and technology in the running space, but was looking for entirely new approach for their running line. They looked to the team at Mast to help them define a new range of lightweight running footwear, and to establish a fresh design language for the category. Designing a family of road and trail shoes, the focus was on lightweight construction, and bringing the foot closer to the ground while still maintaining support.
